Turkey's national air carrier, the Turkish Airlines (THY), is set to add three more flights between Manchester and Istanbul to increase the total number to ten in May, Cengiz Turksoy, THY's Manchester head has said.
A ceremony was held in Manchester on Thursday with the participation of Turkey's Consul Chief in London Amhet Demirok, and British deputies Tony Lloyd and Arlene McCarthy.
Speaking at the ceremony, Demirok said THY had become a global trademark and one of Turkey's leading companies with achievements over the last years.
THY operates scheduled services to 150 international and 41 domestic cities (38 domestic airports), serving a total of 187 airports, in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas
